Burgau Village
The quaint fishing village of Burgau can be found on the outskirts of the S.Vicentina Natural Park on the South coast of the Western Algarve. Picturesque cottages line the cobbled streets leading down to the beautiful, azure bay and clean beach.
Burgau has an abundance of restaurants to suit every palate and pocket. The friendly bars have many local wines and spirits to sample. There are a couple of small supermarkets and local baker for essential items and fresh produce.
Bring a phrase book and try out your Portuguese – the locals would love it. However, if you are not the adventurous type – you will find that the majority do speak English.
