There’s so much to do! The Algarve’s Atlantic coast is perfect for all water sports. The clean waters and unexploited area make this a haven for messing about on and in the water.
Rip up the finest waves while surfing and body-boarding at the Costa Vicentina beaches. The west coast has some of the best conditions for surfing in the world, from the more experienced surfer to the complete novice, there are schools to teach you to ride waves or improve technique.
Fancy getting up close and personal with the local sea-life? At Tempomar Apartments you can enjoy a trial dive in our swimming pool and then experience the real thing out in the ocean. There is an old wreck sitting in Burgau bay just waiting for you to explore.

Fishing is a favourite pastime with the locals. Sea bream, sea bass, mackerel, mullet are but a few species caught with a line off these shores.
Try your hand at wind-surfing, parasailing or waterskiing. For more fun in the sun, ride a banana boat or padle a kayak. There is so much choice you won’t have enough days to give them all a go.
