The Algarve is renowned for its coastline, fabulous beaches and mild climate making it one of Europes premier beach holiday destinations.
Exploring old tracks to discover one of the many sheltered bays and simply relaxing on the warm golden sand is a great tonic. Where beach bars offer ice cold refreshments and sublime local cuisine freshly grilled on a barbecue.
Locally an old Moorish Fort offers stunning vistas of the coast and a great adventure for children.
To get a feel for local culture, history and traditions one must visit the towns and villages. Lagos, one of the most attractive towns on the Algarve is nearby. Experience the hustle and bustle of the farmers market and the unusual sites that await in the fish market, or explore the narrow streets and alleyways of the main town in search of those holiday souvenirs.
